Preferences

Personal preferences — appearance and opt-in previews of upcoming features — are configured in Settings > Preferences. These settings apply only to your own account; they don’t change what other users in your organization see.

The Theme setting offers three choices: Light, Dark, and System, which follows your operating system’s light/dark setting automatically. System is the default unless you’ve explicitly chosen a theme. The change applies immediately across every page, including registers, modals, charts, and the Compliance module.

The Early Adopter section lists upcoming features you can opt into before they become the default experience, each shown alongside a preview image of its layout.

A centered editor for risks and incidents, offered as an alternative to the classic side-panel editor. Enabling it does not remove the classic editor — switching back is a single toggle.

The centered editor consolidates a record’s fields, associations, activity, comments, and tickets into a single modal, and adds:

  • A Dates tab listing every configured date — Discovered, Due, Closed, and Expected — with a persistent label, including dates that aren’t set yet.
  • Tickets support for Jira, ServiceNow, and Linear side by side, rather than assuming a single ticketing integration.
  • Bulk parent-risk or parent-incident linking when multi-editing a selection of records.
  • The same keyboard shortcuts as the classic editor, plus dedicated Previous / Next navigation between records without closing the modal. See Quick Tips for the full shortcut list.

Preferences covers your personal appearance and opt-ins. Other settings areas have their own guides:

Tags are managed from the Tags section within Settings — see the Tags section of Risk Fields or Incident Fields for how tags are used on records.
