Quick Tips

The risk and incident registers use checkboxes for bulk actions — bulk AI scoring, bulk tag edits, bulk parent linking, and more. Selecting a long run of rows one at a time is slow:

  • Click a row’s checkbox to select it.
  • Hold Shift and click another row’s checkbox to select every row in between, inclusive.
  • Shift-clicking again from a new position extends or narrows the selection from your most recent single click.

This works the same way on both the risk and incident registers. See Bulk AI Scoring for one example of a bulk action that uses row selection.

The Opened By, Updated By, and Assigned To filters on both registers support the same shift-click range selection, applied to the list of users rather than register rows:

  • Check one user in the filter dropdown.
  • Hold Shift and click another user to select everyone listed between them, including an Unassigned row when present.
  • If your selection is cleared, or narrowed by typing a new search first, the next shift-click falls back to selecting just the one user you clicked rather than an unpredictable range.

This is the fastest way to select most of a long user list — check the first person you want to exclude, then shift-click the last, and uncheck the ones at either end.
